Project Overview

My role for this project involved developing content, marketing materials, and merchandise for the Miami University Student Foundations’ annual Bike Race event (Spring 2025). I collaborated closely with two other marketing team members, Grace Imhoff and Sydney Hayes, to execute cohesive and engaging deliverables. Through this experience, I strengthened my ability to work under tight timelines, iterate quickly based on feedback, and communicate effectively within a team environment.

Created graphics for Instagram and Facebook to build awareness, build brand recognition, and increase registration for the race.

Began the process by creating brand guidelines, including fonts, colors, and a logo for the client to refer to.

Developed in-person marketing materials such as sidewalk chalk, tabling events, and a custom ice cream collaboration with a local business.

Offered a selection of items, including stickers, buttons, coffee sleeves, and T-shirts for spectators and participants to purchase at the event.

Project Summary

Throughout this experience, I strengthened my ability to clearly communicate ideas and collaborate effectively within a team setting. I gained confidence in delegating tasks and ensuring our work stayed aligned and cohesive. Additionally, I expanded my technical skillset through hands-on use of Canva Pro and Adobe Creative Suite, while developing a stronger understanding of design principles and how to apply them strategically across marketing content.
